At a big party yesterday, Mrs. Sameera Mansour, Head Teacher of Al Nasr Primary School, thanked all the parents and other volunteers who have repainted the whole school this summer. 'Thanks to all your hard work,' she said, 'Our school has now become a much more pleasant place, where all our children can learn and play happily together,'
Altogether, 107 parents as well as six students volunteers and three more volunteers from abroad have worked since early July to make the dream come true. Mrs Mansour gave a special thank you to the three volunteers who came from different parts of the world. After this, school children performed an excellent program of folk dances and traditional songs. This was followed by an outdoor barbecue for all. Later, I talked to the three foreign volunteers and asked them about their experience in Palestine.
